How To Prosper In Today’s Economy
“Don’t shun away in-house training of your employees as a burden on your financial resources. Even more, you have to educate the customers as well. Feedback from the customers is very important for the success of any company. ”
We are living in a changing economy. This change is good as well as bad for different sets of people. Yet we have to admit one thing. Cost cutting is not the panacea for all ills. We got to devise new ideas and methods to prosper in this kind of recessive economy.
First of all the companies have to be extra cautious while doing new recruitments. They have to keep in mind that they cannot take any chances and have to employ the best people for the various departments of their company. If your company has excellent workforce, it is sure that it can cope with the recession in a better way.
You have to devise such a policy, as to ensure that there is no confusion regarding the responsibilities entrusted to each employee. Each and every employee must be made accountable for his actions and work. His achievements should be minutely scrutinized and proper reward given where deserved. However, try to be human to some extent and try to give the benefit of doubt to your employee in some unaccounted for cases.
Don’t shun away in-house training of your employees as a burden on your financial resources. On the contrary, in-house training and education of your employees is the need of the hour. In this period of crisis only those companies would survive who are the best. To be best you need to pool in your best efforts.
Even more, you have to educate the customers as well. Feedback from the customers is very important for the success of any company. Now customer cannot be taken as a passive entity as was thought earlier. Rather you have to make your customer participate in our endeavor so that you are able to make those quality products that cater to the needs of the majority.
You have also to keep your eyes wide open; much wider than before. This world is in a transition period. So, changes in different laws and regulations, social structures, migrations, science and technology etc. should be closely monitored by you. Your company can’t afford to miss even one chance of doing better than the others. Remember, the matter of survival is confronting all of us in a very big way and the lethargic and the pessimistic ones are not likely to survive in this time of great upheaval.
