Walk through Epcot’s World Showcase and discover unique holiday traditions from around the globe. Experience the enchanting Candlelight Processional, a long-standing Disney tradition that celebrates Christmas through international music and storytelling.
Featuring celebrity narrators, a mass choir, and 50-piece orchestra, this year’s line up includes actress Mira Sorvino, actor Neil Patrick Harris, and musician Michael W. Smith.
Held at the American Gardens Theatre, the Candlelight Processional offers special packages that include lunch or dinner and guaranteed event seating. Epcot’s Holidays Around the World runs from November 25 – December 30, 2011.
The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights
Since 1995, Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been inspiring holiday cheer with a massive display of glittering lights wonderfully synchronized to holiday music. Entire buildings draped in holiday lights seem to dance in time to “Deck the Halls,” “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” and more. As you wonder through this enchanting village you will be caught up in the magic of twirling carousels, heavenly angels, Santa and his reindeer, and the occasional Disney snow flurry. The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights runs from November 10, 2011 – January 3, 2012.
Festival of the Season at Downtown Disney
Find the perfect gift for everyone on your holiday shopping list at Downtown Disney’s novelty shops. Catch the holiday spirit as you roam streets filled with reindeer and toy soldier stilt-walkers, festive carolers, and jolly street performers. Dance in the streets to holiday tunes spun by a DJ, or snap a memorable photo with Old St. Nick. The Festival of the Season starts in late November 2011 and runs through early January 2012.
SeaWorld® Holiday Events
Experience wintery, watery fun and cheerful performances by beloved characters as SeaWorld® celebrates the holidays. Seasonal shows include Winter Wonderland on Ice, Clyde and Seamore’s Countdown to Christmas, a Sesame Street Christmas, and Shamu Christmas: Miracles. Holiday performances run each weekend from November 25 through December 11. Weeknight performances begin December 16, and run through December 30, 2011.
